She began her career in New York working in-house at companies like Warner Records, BMG and Viacom. Her early start in the entertainment industry was a true equalizer as she aligned artists with major brands in new and exciting ways enhancing their profiles. As early as 1995, Debra was effective at using the internet and other digital media as vehicles to market musical artists and affiliated brands.
With a move to Los Angeles, Debra was on the frontier of strategic marketing joining forces with Mark Burnett Productions securing lucrative integration deals for The Apprentice. She was also responsible for developing a merchandising program for affiliated shows.
After 10 years in California, West followed her love of the mountains to Utah where she has created a variety of successful real estate and lifestyle marketing campaigns for companies like Engel & Voelkers and Berkshire Hathaway. Besides the ski and real estate industries Utah is a perfect hub to the inter-mountain west and an exciting locale for entrepreneurial endeavors, film, television and technology industries.
